Welcome to Forest of Bere Bowmen
FoBB is a lively, friendly archery club located in Horndean, Hampshire.
We welcome archers to the club, with the aim of the promotion of Target Archery for all bows except Crossbows and any arrows with broadhead points or similar.
The club has an active shooting schedule and our outdoor facilities are available 365 days a year.
York / Hereford Shoot
A UK record status and Rose award York / Hereford shoot.
The first one took place on Sunday 21st May 2023 at the FoBB range near Horndean.
This will be held on 17th May in 2026.
Team Challenge Shoot
A team shoot handicapped by bow type shooting a Western, followed by a bar b que.
It has been changed to an open shoot, so County records can be claimed. It has previously been an invitational.
The shoot started in May 1994 to celebrate 20 years of FoBB.
This will be held on Monday 25th May 2026
WRS WA Weekend 2024
Our WRS WA weekend will be the same daily format as previous years.
Saturday WA70 Rec & LB. WA60 Rec & LB 50+ WA50 Compound & BB with 50+ categories.
Sunday WA1440 Rounds. 90m Gents, 70m Ladies & 50+ Gents, 60m 50+ Ladies.
This will be held on 4-5 July 2026.

Outdoor
The field is available almost anytime for members. We have club shoots outdoors every Sunday throughout the year, starting at 10am. During the summer, a variety of rounds are shot, changing each week. During the winter most members shoot a Frostbite round. Guests are welcome anytime, signed in by a member, £5 a day.

Indoor
Starting 5th September, until 8th May 2026, we can also shoot indoors at South Downs College, College Road, PO7 8AA. The sessions are on Friday evenings, during term times, between 7.15 and 9.15pm. Archers can arrive at 7 to setup their own equipment, the hall will be setup already and shooting can start at 7.15. Assistance to pack away at the end would be appreciated. Members £5, guests welcome £6.
